Machining Tools Technician

Kent Industrial USA is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Machining Tools Technician to join our technical team in Tustin, CA. In this full-time position, you will work alongside senior technicians to learn and operate high-precision machine tools- including CNC mills, lathes, and grinders. We are looking for dedicated candidates to join our team as permanent members of our technical family.

• Machine Setup & Support: Assist in the assembly, leveling, and setup of new CNC and manual machinery.
• Preventative Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance (fluid checks, lubrication, and filter changes) to ensure machine longevity.
• Troubleshooting: Shadow senior technicians to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on a variety of machine tools.
• Precision Measurement: Use calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators to verify machine alignments and part tolerances.
• Shop Safety: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all Cal/OSHA safety standards.

• Education: Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of, a Machining, CNC, or Manufacturing Technology program (or equivalent experience).
• Technical Aptitude: A foundational understanding of machine tool operation and shop math.
• Blueprint Literacy: Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Reliability: A team-first attitude with a strong commitment to punctuality and professional growth.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a shop environment.
