Pediatric Nurse Practitioner – Autism
Join CHOC Children’s Specialists as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner working within the new Thompson Autism Center team. The role functions in a family‑centered care environment alongside the Neurology Division and the Autism Center team to assist in the development of the center.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement programs for children with autism spectrum disorder.
- Provide direct patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and follow‑up.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, high‑quality care.
- Communicate with families to educate and support them in managing autism.
- Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with health‑care regulations.
- Active California license and certification as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Proven experience in pediatrics; experience with autism program desired.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to care.
- Proficiency in program development and clinical practice within a pediatric setting.
