Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Palliative Care

St. Joseph Heritage Medical Group is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant in Palliative Care to join their team.

This role involves providing exceptional patient and family care within an inpatient setting, focusing on goals of care, advanced care planning, symptoms management, safety net planning and end of life care and referrals. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in the Palliative Care specialty, ensuring comprehensive support for patients. The team is highly collaborative, close-knit, and dedicated to providing compassionate care.

• Monday to Friday schedule
• Inpatient care only
• Focusing on goals of care, advanced care planning, symptoms management, safety net planning and end of life care and referrals
• Compensation is between $159,533 and $206,335 per year
• Providence is a non‑profit that qualifies for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF)

The posted salary reflects the starting range of total compensation and may include productivity bonuses, incentives related to quality and performance, hospital/ED call stipends, extra shift incentives, and other forms of cash compensation as applicable to the position. In addition, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits offered by their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with State law and is subject to variation due to the factors noted above.

• Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner with clinic experience preferred
• Hospice or Palliative Care certification is a plus
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred
