Position: House Supervisor RN- "Per Diem Nights"
Description

House Supervisor RN located at St Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. This position is per diem, 12 hour night shifts.

Represents Saint Joseph Hospital and Administration to the employees, patients, physicians, visitors and others as required. The position is responsible for the coordination of patient flow, placement and supervisory activities during their assigned shift; in cooperation with nursing leadership. Serves as a nursing resource and support to personnel in collaboration with the department managers and directors. Ensures the continuing coordination of operations of all hospital departments in alignment with the organizational strategic goals.

This position has the authority and responsibility to exercise "command decisions" in all emergency and safety related situations. Advocates for the protection and rights of individuals, families, communities, populations, health care providers, nursing and other professions especially related to health and safety.

Required Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.

• Upon hire:
California Registered Nurse License

• Upon hire:
National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

• Upon hire:
National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association

• 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
