Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab position requiring a CA RN license, Epic experience, and at least 2 years of lab experience.
Responsibilities- Work in an Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab unit within an acute care hospital
- Patient population includes neuro and vascular cases for IR RNs
- Day shifts are 4x10 hours from 6:30 to 17:00, scheduled Monday through Friday
- On-call required for 7 days per month, including one weekend per month (Friday to Sunday PM) and one day per week
- Floating between facilities within the state is required
- Epic EMR required for IR RNs and strongly preferred for Cath Lab RNs
- Provide care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and cath lab procedures, including neuro and vascular cases
- Required to wear royal blue scrubs as dress code
- First-time travelers with at least 2 years of lab experience are welcome to apply
- All time off requests must be submitted at the time of application; holiday time off requests are considered as preferences
- Block scheduling requests are at the discretion of management
- Free parking available on site
- Travel pairs are not considered for this assignment
- Active CA RN license required
- Current ACLS, BLS, and CCI certifications required
- Minimum of 2 years recent lab experience in a facility with at least 250 beds required
- Neuro and vascular experience required for IR RNs
- Epic experience required for IR RNs; preferred for Cath Lab RNs
- Scrub skills preferred but not required
- Former permanent staff must have at least a 3-month separation before returning as a traveler
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- References covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty required
