American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a high-volume emergency department requiring recent ER experience and CA RN licensure.

• Work in a very high-volume Emergency Department with Comprehensive Cardiac, STEMI, Stroke, and Behavioral Health Center capabilities
• Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts from 18:00 to 6:30
• Every other weekend required, may exceed to meet unit needs
• No on-call requirements
• Uses Epic charting system
• Floating required between sister facilities within the state

• Active CA RN license required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, MAB, NIHSS, and PALS
• Minimum 1 year of ER experience required within the last year
• Experience in a 200+ volume facility required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission for consideration
• Two supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration

• Acute care Magnet-designated hospital with 426 staffed beds
• Free parking available onsite
• RNs wear royal blue scrubs; L&D/OR scrubs provided
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays:
  Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• RTO requests must be submitted upfront at time of consideration; post-offer RTO changes may not be accommodated
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this role
• Travel pairs will not be considered
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a lower rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
