As a cashier, you will process orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently, ensuring complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service. You will accurately handle cash, credit/debit payments, and change; assist customers with information and complaints; follow all front‑end procedures; stock shelves, face, and dust as needed; maintain knowledge of weekly ad items; guide customers to product locations; and maintain excellent communication with front‑end manager and head cashier.

You will keep checkout areas clean and orderly and execute other related duties as assigned.

• Be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent, and 1‑2 years of recent cashiering experience.
• Show an outgoing, friendly behavior, a positive attitude, and the ability to interact with customers.
• Operate front‑end equipment: register, calculator, scanner.
• Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have good communication skills; take direction, constructive criticism, and participate in a team environment.
• Perform repetitive activities, multi‑task, prioritize, and stay organized.
• Lifting/carrying product horizontally or vertically up to 30 lbs., from 36″ to 24″, for a distance up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance.
• Move grocery carts horizontally with a force up to 35 lbs. for a distance up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours.
• Show strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers, cash handling, and mathematical skills; read, write, and count.

The pay range for this position is $17.05 – $21.25 per hour, based on applicable experience and qualifications.
