Job SummaryOur Dealer Account Managers provide world‑class customer service, training, and prospecting for business opportunities in a dynamic field position. They educate and train dealer partners, acquire new contacts, manage sales activities, and ensure consistent product and service delivery. The role is full‑time, requires local travel, and promises a highly incentivized, performance‑based compensation package.
Responsibilities- Prepare presentations and proposals to communicate company products and services to independent and franchise dealerships.
- Identify sales prospects and contact assigned accounts.
- Follow up on new leads and referrals arising from field activity.
- Develop, maintain, and grow current and potential dealer partners.
- Communicate via phone and in‑person visits to train partners on current programs and fast‑funding requirements.
- Provide solutions and restructure vehicle loans for profitable approval.
- Assist dealers in preparing sales contracts, ensuring proper verification by Westlake Financial.
- Maintain up‑to‑date sales materials and current financial product knowledge.
- Participate in marketing events such as seminars, trade shows, and telemarketing events.
- Demonstrated experience in automotive, finance, and sales (required).
- 1–2 years of previous sales experience with a proven track record.
- College degree (preferred or equivalent work experience).
- Strong presentation skills and interpersonal communication.
- Knowledge of advertising and sales‑promotion techniques.
- Computer proficiency and adaptability to new technology.
- Goal‑oriented with a desire for improvement and advancement.
- Able to work amicably with diverse teams.
- Experience with Dealer Track, Routeone, or CUDL is beneficial.
- Previous outside sales experience is preferred.
- Significant local travel with a valid state driver’s license.
- Self‑determined, performance‑based compensation package.
- First‑year guaranteed minimum income starting at $5,000 monthly plus performance commissions; thereafter, base of $1,000 monthly plus commissions.
- Average earnings after 1 year: $160,000.
- Top 25% reps: $245,000.
- Top 50% reps: $305,000.
- Monthly vehicle mileage reimbursement program averaging $450.
- No commission limits.
- Exact starting compensation determined at hiring based on location, skill, experience, and other factors.
