Security Officer – Mall Unarmed Patrol Driver in Orange, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer, you will monitor and patrol retail and mall locations, helping to deter security‑related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. You will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and communicate with guests and staff to support a secure environment.

- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner to help maintain order at the location.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail and mall areas, as well as the surrounding perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity and address potential concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or security‑related incidents to the appropriate Allied Universal personnel or site management.
- Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and helping to direct visitors as needed.
- Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members, site staff, and local authorities when required to address security‑related matters.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of patrols, incidents, and any actions taken during the shift.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
