Commercial VRF Field Service and Startup Specialist

Your Mission Help deliver reliable, efficient buildings by commissioning and servicing advanced VRF and control systems across Southern California for DMG (an Ambient Company). What You’ll Own Startup and commissioning for multiple OEMs on commercial projects.

Troubleshooting control system installations on Daikin, AAON, and LG HVAC equipment.

Collaborating with installers to resolve punch‑list items and close out projects.

Programming controllers via touchscreens and computers; validating sequences.

Reading/decoding wiring diagrams and manuals to diagnose quickly.

Completing service reports and submitting startup documents for warranty registration.

Performing preventive maintenance, routine service, and repairs.

Handling additional assignments and maintaining consistent attendance.

Core KnowledgeHVAC trade standards and refrigeration theory.

Installation/repair materials, methods, and tools.

Electrical theory applied to HVAC systems.

Manual and schematic interpretation.

Brazing/soldering; safety regulations; basic recordkeeping.

Proper storage/handling of equipment, materials, and supplies.

Advanced Expertise You Bring Commercial LG and AAON systems; commercial package units.

VRF systems with deep knowledge of refrigerant properties.

Controls troubleshooting and automated temperature control systems.

BMS communications and system functionality.

Computer‑based HVAC platforms; email, internet apps, office software, and basic networking.

Qualifications

Education:

High school diploma or G.E.D.; two years of HVAC training program.

Licenses/Certifications:

Valid California License;
Active EPA Universal Technician Certification.

Where You’ll Work Southern California field sites with support from our Orange County and Los Angeles offices.
