How You’ll Contribute Lead on‑site startups for various manufacturers, ensuring smooth handoffs to owners.

Diagnose and correct control installation issues on Daikin, AAON, and LG commercial HVAC systems.

Use logic and systematic reasoning to isolate faults; coordinate directly with the original installers.

Program new control systems through touchscreens and computers; confirm sequences and setpoints.

Interpret wiring schematics and manuals to expedite troubleshooting.

Capture detailed notes in service reports; complete startup documentation and submit for warranty.

Perform preventive maintenance, routine servicing, and repairs; take on additional assignments as needed.

Demonstrate consistent, dependable attendance.

What You KnowHVAC trade practices, industry standards, and refrigeration theory.

Installation/repair materials, methods, and tools for commercial HVAC/R.Electrical theory as applied to HVAC equipment and controls.

Reading and applying equipment manuals and HVAC wiring schematics.

Brazing and soldering; safety regulations; basic record‑keeping; proper storage/handling of materials.

Technical EdgeLG and AAON commercial systems, plus commercial package units.

VRF systems with expert‑level understanding of refrigerant properties.

HVAC controls and automated temperature control systems; advanced troubleshooting.

BMS communication systems and functionality.

Modern, computer‑based HVAC platforms; comfort with email, web apps, office software, and basic networking.

Credentials High school diploma or G.E.D.Two years of HVAC training program.

Valid California License.

Active EPA Universal Technician Certification.
