Position: Gas Operations Analyst – Leak Management
Pay Rate: $20–$25/hr
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Location:Hybrid - Orange, CT
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

System One is seeking a Gas Operations Analyst – Leak Management to support gas distribution operations through data analysis, SAP work order management, and reporting support. This role requires strong analytical ability, exceptional Excel skills, and the ability to manage large datasets with accuracy and attention to regulatory requirements.

• Create and manage SAP work orders, attachments, and variant research.
• Collect and organize operational data for gas distribution system projects.
• Enter and analyze large volumes of operational data in Excel.
• Support reporting, filing, and audit documentation for construction and technical services teams.
• Maintain accurate data supporting monthly and quarterly regulatory reports.
• Provide analytical support on projects involving leaks, paving, mapping, permits, logs, and multi-sheet tracking tools.
• Assist with integration of various data sources into organized, trackable formats.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate information flow.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum 6 years of relevant analytical or operations support experience.
• Experience analyzing gas operations or utility-related data.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and general PC applications (PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
• Advanced problem-solving ability and critical thinking skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly.
• Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks independently.
• Comfortable managing large transactional datasets with accuracy.
• Self-directed, proactive, and process-improvement mindset.
