At Orange Veterinary Hospital, CSRs are essential members of our team — not just receptionists, but vital communicators and compassionate guides for our clients and their pets. You'll be the first and last impression for those visiting our hospital, helping to create a friendly, calm, and professional environment for all.

• Greet clients in person and over the phone with warmth, professionalism, and efficiency
• Schedule and confirm appointments based on medical needs and client preferences
• Communicate with empathy during stressful or emotional situations
• Maintain an organized and welcoming front office and lobby
• Educate clients on wellness plans, prescription diets, and in-house products
• Perform opening/closing procedures and reconcile end-of-day reports and deposits
• Accurately manage data entry, client records, and patient intake
• Check clients in and out, review invoices, and process financial transactions

• Part time work, Saturday availability required
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in customer service (veterinary experience is a plus!)
• Comfortable with Microsoft Office and general computer skills
• Strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
• A calm, compassionate demeanor — especially in high-pressure situations
• Willingness to learn veterinary terminology and work closely with both clients and the medical team
• Ability to stay seated and focused for much of the day
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude
