Position Summary
Assistant Director of Clinical Operations – LVN/RN at Focused Post Acute Care Partners (FPACP) in Orange, TX. Under the direction of the Director of Nursing, the ADON supervises nursing services, sets standards of care, and ensures a professional, skilled program of care for residents.
Qualifications- Current RN or LVN license
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Clear speaking voice and adequate hearing to communicate with residents and team members
- Capacity to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation
- Current CPR certification
- Ensure resident safety and review all new admissions for accuracy and completeness
- Conduct daily rounds and coach/mentor licensed nurses
- Respond to call lights in a timely manner and attend to residents’ comfort and needs
- Lift, move, and transfer residents as required, with safe handling of loads up to 150 pounds when needed
- Safely use equipment and report any maintenance issues
- Participate in emergency fire or disaster drills and other in‑service training, including stairwell ascents and evacuations
- Maintain regular attendance in accordance with facility absence policies
- Adhere to dress code and use appropriate workplace behavior at all times
- Complete assigned training on time and attend all scheduled training sessions
- Communicate tactfully in sensitive situations and promote positive public relations with residents, families, and guests
- Utilize the electronic medical record (Point Click Care) for charting
- Assist in ensuring nursing personnel staffing schedules are prepared and posted to maintain appropriate staffing levels

- Assure attending physicians are given support by nursing personnel
- Other duties as assigned
Ability to safely perform movements such as pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations.
Work ScheduleAs assigned, including some weekends, evenings, and holidays; non‑exempt position.
