Job DescriptionAs a Security Guard - Government Patrol Driver Full-Time in Orange, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal at a government location, you will conduct regular patrols, remain highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents while providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the premises and respond promptly to situations as they arise.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help support a secure environment.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the government facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and report any irregularities.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and/or restricted areas as directed, ensuring only authorized personnel access certain locations.
- Document and communicate any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as required.
- Assist visitors and employees with questions or directions while maintaining a professional presence on site.
- Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and local authorities as needed to address incidents or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
