Base pay range

$31,200.00/hr - $41,600.00/hr

Position Overview

The Administrative Assistant provides clerical and administrative support to the school’s leadership team. This position involves managing office tasks, coordinating communication, and assisting with day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle correspondence for the school.
  • Maintain school calendars, schedule appointments, and coordinate meetings.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations for school administrators.
  • Assist with student enrollment and records management.
  • Maintain the Principal's daily schedule, including meetings, teacher observations, and events.
  • Serve as the point of contact for calls to the Principal and other members of the school leadership team.
  • Assist with preparations for visitors and important meetings.
  • Handle confidential information and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Support school events and activities by providing logistical support.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory and ordering office supplies.
  • Perform general office duties as needed.
  • Any other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's degree preferred).
  • Experience in administrative or clerical roles preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other office software.
Physical Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively; sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Environment

This position operates in a professional school environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and instructional materials. Noise level is typically moderate, but can be higher during student-centered activities or events. Occasional local travel for school-related functions may be required.
