Inventory Control Specialist; GFS

• Execute scheduled and ad‑hoc cycle counts and investigate inventory discrepancies to ensure data reliability
• Research, reconcile, and process exception orders and maintain pick‑exception logs in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and develop actionable reports to drive process improvements
• Mentor team members on WMS best practices and collaborate with various departments to resolve complex issues
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and support continuous improvement initiatives

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment with WMS/inventory‑management systems
• Proficiency in operating material‑handling equipment and common office tools like Excel and Word
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to recognize trends and recommend corrective actions
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills for training peers and guiding process improvements
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred

• Certification in inventory management (e.g., CPIM, Six Sigma)
• Experience with data analysis and reporting tools
• Familiarity with Lean methodologies and Kaizen events
• Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain management role
