Description Of Position

The Preconstruction Manager will simultaneously lead activities associated with multiple prospective projects during the preconstruction phase of primarily negotiated multifamily construction projects.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure enforcement/ compliance of CF Evans Construction’s corporate safety, quality, and schedule / production management programs, as well as lead and direct project planning and customer service programs for projects. Foster and ensure cooperative and collaborative internal and external partner relationships.
• Lead and/or perform portions of estimates for projects, including understanding scope and performing accurate quantity surveys.
• Ensure proper management of the client’s expectations established for preconstruction efforts;
  Ability to build relationships with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
• Demonstrate support of project teams throughout the preconstruction process including budgeting, estimating, scheduling, value analysis, and design management;
  Provide Value Engineering options as necessary.
• Coordinate pricing efforts with the construction services teams and Director of Safety for construction assemblies and logistics.
• Develop or further enhance phasing and sequencing plans, in consultation with Operations.
