Summary:
The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks candidates to join its Community Radiology Group for its Regional Health Network in its Pee Dee Division that includes the areas of Florence, Marion, and Black River.

Work Shift: On‑site, varying shift coverage 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.; evenings may be covered by night radiologist services and hybrid schedules may be available based on coverage needs.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging services, including mammography, breast imaging (ultrasounds, MR), and other general radiology procedures.
- Provide light interventional radiology (IR) procedures such as biopsies.
- Cover on‑call shifts and be available for occasional evening coverage.
- Work collaboratively with a community radiology team across Florence, Marion, and Black River.
Qualifications:
- MD or equivalent degree with A Board certification.
- Fellowship training in general radiology.
- Experience with breast imaging (ultrasounds, MR) and light IR services.
- Must be able to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform job functions in an upright position.
- Ability to perform job functions in a seated or standing position.
- Ability to perform job functions while walking/mobile.
- Ability to work indoors.
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 15 lbs. unassisted.
- Maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or with both eyes.
- Good peripheral vision and hearing acuity, with correction.
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders.
