We are seeking a board-eligible/board-certified general psychiatrist to join our multispecialty group. This role is an inpatient hospital-based coverage model (Inpatient unit, EmPATH unit, and consults). You will also be a teaching faculty member for our MUSC Orangeburg Psychiatry Residency Program, collaborating with MUSC’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in Charleston for clinical support and resources.

• Inpatient psychiatry hospital-based coverage of unit and consults

MUSC Health Orangeburg Medical Center was first established in 1919, growing from a small private hospital into a robust regional health care system that joined the Medical University of South Carolina hospital network in 2023. MUSC Health – Orangeburg’s network includes a 286-bed acute care hospital in Orangeburg, a breast center with mobile mammography capabilities, MUSC Health Bamber-Barnwell Medical Pavilion, Express Care locations in Orangeburg and Santee, seven primary care clinics, and 15 specialty practices located throughout Orangeburg, Bamburg and Calhoun counties.
