The incumbent should be able to teach Introduction to Sociology;
Sociological Theory;
Sociological Methods:
Senior Seminar; and at least two of the following:
Rural Sociology;
Qualitative Methods/Statistics;
Medical Sociology;
Human Sexuality; or Gerontology. Command of English and the ability to interact successfully with students from diverse backgrounds is required. Teaching load is four classes per semester. They would also be required to advise students and serve on various committees.
- Teach Introduction to Sociology;
Sociological Theory;
Sociological Methods:
Senior Seminar; and at least two of Rural Sociology;
Qualitative Methods/Statistics;
Medical Sociology;
Human Sexuality; or Gerontology. - Maintain a teaching load of four classes per semester.
- Advise students and serve on committees as assigned.
