We are hiring substitutes in Orangeburg County School District for the upcoming  school year. No previous experience is required! Substituting is an excellent opportunity to mentor and help students become their best.

• Substitute Teacher – HS diploma: $67.00/day;
  Certified: $90.00/day
• Substitute Para educator – HS diploma: $8.25/hour;
  Master’s degree: $9.00/hour
• Negative TB skin test (within the past year)

• Assume duties of the district employee following lesson plans, school rules, and Kelly policies
• Empower students to learn and encourage classroom participation
• For long‑term assignments, develop lesson plans, build and administer tests, and grade assignments
• Substitute teachers may be referred to as substitute educator, guest teacher, or relief teacher
• Substitute aides may be referred to as paraprofessionals, education technicians, teacher’s aide, instructional assistant, classroom assistant, or education assistant
