Overview
CRNA (PRN/Part-Time) at MUSC Health - Orangeburg Medical Center, Orangeburg, SC. The role is a Part-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist joining a growing practice working with an Anesthesia Care Team of experienced CRNAs and board-certified anesthesiologists.
Schedule:
Part-time, PRN; 4 scheduled weekly hours.
- Provide CRNA services with a broad mix of cases across MUSC Health’s Orangeburg campus.
- Experience administering major vascular, pediatric (moderate), neuro, regional, and orthopedic anesthesia, as well as anesthesia for outpatient surgery.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification;
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. - COVID-19 vaccination (per policy).
- Must be a graduate of the Council on Accreditation’s Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs’ approved programs of anesthesia, certified, or recertified by the National Board on Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists, and insurable by the MUSC medical malpractice insurer for the required limits.
- Minimum education requirement for those hired after March 1, 2019: master’s degree or higher with concentration in Nurse Anesthesia.
- Must be recognized as an APRN or be eligible, with current license to practice, or eligibility to obtain practice in the state of South Carolina.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association (AHA).
- ACLS certification.
