Independent Contractor Tax Preparer Commision

Safetax is looking for motivated, reliable, and professional TAX PREPARERS to join our team for the upcoming tax season. This is a 1099 independent contractor position - perfect for someone who enjoys flexible hours while earning competitive commission-based pay.

• Prepare accurate and compliant individual tax returns
• Communicate with clients professionally (phone, text, email, in-person)
• Gather required tax documents and verify accuracy
• Educate clients on their tax situation when needed
• Maintain confidentiality and follow IRS guidelines
• Market and promote your services to bring in clients (3-5 clients weekly expected)
• Provide excellent customer service to bring in clients (3-5 clients weekly expected)

• Previous tax preparation experience preferred, but training available for the right candidate.
• MUST have reliable transportation
• MUST be willing to market yourself (door-to-door, social media, referrals, events, etc.)
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Smartphones and internet access
• Professional attitude and appearance

• Commission-based pay
• You will earn a percentage of each return you prepare.
• Paid out weekly or biweekly depending on company cycle
