• Starting salary of $26-$30.00 per hour depending on experience

• Monday – Friday every week
• Start at 10am-8pm
• No weekends
• The normal setting for this job is a repair / maintenance shop at our Orangeburg, SC hauling site

• Inspect, diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on a wide range of vehicles and equipment
• Estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and new parts
• Perform work within our Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs)
• Respond to service calls for emergency breakdowns
• Safety checks on vehicles – the safety of every single employee and the people in our communities is our number one priority
• Complete required paperwork, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair times
• Assist senior Mechanics in the completion of project work
• Review, complete, or assign repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports
• Maintain a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards and perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures

• 2 years of relevant work experience
• A valid driver's license, with a clean driving record
• Be over 18 years of age
• Legally eligible to work in the United States
• Ability to perform physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
• Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical

• Physical duties include frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constant standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing
• Exposure to physical occupational risks (such as cuts, burns, exposure to toxic chemicals)
• Exposure to a dirty, noisy environment with weather extremes or similar elements
• Work occurs in indoor garage or shop conditions as well as outdoor conditions with inclement weather, heat and humidity
