Position: Contract Senior Accountant
Join a talented team as a Senior Accountant at a leading HVAC contractor in Orangeville. This full-time, 16-month contract role offers comprehensive accounting responsibilities including month-end close and financial oversight.

Your expertise will be invaluable as you report directly to the Director of Finance in this hands-on position. The Senior Accountant will support full-cycle accounting, month-end reconciliations, and oversee accounts payable and receivable. You'll also contribute to financial analysis and daily operations within a small team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead month-end close and prepare journal entries

• Oversee AP/AR processes and accuracy

• Support year-end reporting and documentation

• Analyze financial data and suggest process improvements

• Handle customer inquiries regarding payments and transactions

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• CPA designation or in program with 5+ years experience

• Proficient in full-cycle accounting practices

• Experience with ERP systems; MS Dynamics NAV preferred

• Strong Excel and communication skills
