We are looking for a Ward Clerk to work with our D Wing Department to help us continue in our mission to serve our community with Kindness, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.

Position Responsibilities:
The successful applicant will perform the duties expected of a Ward Clerk within the D Wing Department.

The Ward Clerk performs clerical and administrative support functions to ensure smooth operation of the assigned unit.

Qualifications:

Ward Clerk certificate and relevant clerical experience in health care setting required;

Medical terminology and an understanding of the health care system required;

Proficient computer skills required;

Ability to work unsupervised in a high pressure position required;

Ability to interact positively with physicians and the public required;

Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi task required;

Experience with Meditech and order entry preferred;

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required;

Acceptable performance and attendance records

Hiring Salary Range: $28.712 - $29.334 The duration of this temporary position is approximately 3 - 6 months.
