In this position you will:- provide onsite quality customer services in person, by providing timely and accurate information related to government programs, products and services
- greet and assist customers
- process applications and renewals
- provide information about government services
- collect payments and issue receipts
- answer customer questions
- stay informed about policies and products
- Customer focus to provide optimum service, explain information and meet customer needs and resolve customer inquiries and find solutions resulting in a positive customer experience.
- Effective communication to explain guidelines and procedures, respond to customer questions, write concise correspondence, apply judgment, tact, empathy and patience to meet customer needs.
- Thinking skills to probe for information, assess situations, and determine customer needs, and take appropriate actions.
- Math skills to handle cash, operate cash register and point of sale machines to process transactions
- Computer proficiency and ability to use Microsoft Office, database programs, and operation of specialized equipment.
- Team collaboration to work well with colleagues in a team environment.
