The UGDSB is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our secondary teaching team as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher for Math across 3 sections. This position is a temporary assignment covering the absence of the regular teacher.

Position Details

Location: Orangeville DSS
Rate of Pay: $59,300.82 – $ per annum (based on QECO rating and teaching experience; prorated for FTE, grid rate effective September 1, 2025)
Effective Date: September 2, 2026 – February 2, 2027
Periods: 1, 2, 3
Please Note: LTO positions will end if the incumbent returns to work

Responsibilities

The Long-Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.
