The UGDSB is currently looking for a dynamic individual to join our secondary teaching team as a Long-Term Occasional Teacher for Math across 3 sections. This position is a temporary assignment covering the absence of the regular teacher.

The UGDSB employs approximately 6,500 staff and serves more than 35,000 students across 66 elementary and 11 secondary schools. We are committed to fostering student achievement and well‑being.

Location: Orangeville DSS
Rate of Pay: $59,300.82 – $ per annum (based on QECO rating and teaching experience; prorated for FTE, grid rate effective September 1, 2025)
Effective Date: September 2, 2026 – February 2, 2027
Periods: 1, 2, 3

The Long-Term Occasional Teacher is responsible for providing continuous, high-quality education during the temporary absence of the regular teacher. The successful candidate will support student achievement and well‑being in accordance with Ontario Ministry of Education standards and Board policies.
