Support secondary students’ literacy and numeracy development as an instructor at Orangeville DSS, focusing on skills connected to the welding trade.
The Upper Grand District School Board offers a non-credit bearing program before or after the school day. This instructor supports secondary school students through literacy and numeracy development. The position is based at Orangeville DSS and runs Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities:- Support literacy development for secondary school students
- Support numeracy development for secondary school students
- Focus learning support on the welding trade
- Deliver programming before or after the school day
- Ontario College of Teachers qualifications considered an asset
- Ability to support secondary school literacy development
- Ability to support secondary school numeracy development
- Availability Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM
- Ability to work at Orangeville DSS
