Position: Headwaters Health Care Registered Nurse Role

We seek a Registered Nurse dedicated to excellence in nursing practice within our Operating Room Department. Responsibilities include delivering comprehensive nursing care and working collaboratively with surgical teams. Candidates must have recent operating room experience and exhibit strong critical thinking, organization, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute nursing functions in the Operating Room setting

• Support surgical procedures as a surgical team member

• Follow standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Maintain readiness for on-call duty in surgeries

• Foster teamwork and communication among health staff
Requirements:

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing

• Recent experience in Operating Room settings required

• Preferred completion of Perioperative Nursing Program

• Valid certifications in BCLS, ACLS, and PALS necessary

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
