Candidates with 1-2 years of recent emergency nursing experience are preferred, alongside required certifications like ACLS, BCLS, and PALS. This role emphasizes critical thinking, communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide general and specialized nursing care to patients

• Adhere to nursing practice standards and approved care protocols

• Work independently under medical directives in emergency settings

• Demonstrate strong decision-making and communication skills

• Maintain patient records using Meditech Expanse documentation

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• BScN degree or Diploma in Nursing

• 1-2 years recent Emergency Department experience

• Valid ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications

• Ability to manage aggressive behavior and handle critical situations
