Position: Full Time Registered Nurse - Emergency
Join Headwaters Health Care Centre as a full-time Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. Utilize your specialized nursing skills while adhering to high standards of patient care.

In this role, you will be accountable for delivering both general and specialized nursing duties in the Emergency Department. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of recent experience in emergency nursing and maintain certifications such as ACLS, BCLS, and PALS. You will focus on critical patient assessments and effective communication while thriving in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough patient assessments in emergency situations

• Provide specialized nursing care following established standards

• Collaborate with medical staff while working under directives

• Utilize effective decision-making and customer service skills

• Document patient care efficiently using Meditech Expanse

Requirements:

• Valid registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a diploma

• At least 1-2 years of Emergency Department experience

• Must have current ACLS, BCLS, and PALS certifications

• Familiarity with pediatric nursing and emergency protocols
