Become a critical member of the Emergency Department at Headwaters Health Care Centre as a Registered Practical Nurse. Provide vital care while fostering a compassionate environment for patients and families.

This temporary full-time opportunity allows you to leverage your skills as an RPN in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. You'll be integral in delivering patient-centered care while adhering to the nursing standards established by HHCC and the College of Nurses of Ontario. Your practical experience, especially in emergency nursing, will significantly enhance patient care outcomes as you work alongside a collaborative medical team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer focused nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department

• Collaborate with multi-disciplinary health professionals for optimal care

• Practice within the full scope of your RPN certification

• Ensure compliance with provincial nursing standards

• Engage in self-directed practice under medical directives

Requirements:

• Current RPN certification from Ontario

• 1-2 years of nursing experience in emergency or medicine/surgical

• IV and CPR certifications required

• Coronary Care training completed

• PEARS certification preferred
