Headwaters Health Care Centre is looking for an experienced Registered Practical Nurse for its E Wing, focusing on palliative and rehabilitation services. Your responsibilities will involve delivering efficient nursing care that meets the needs of patients and aligns with the health standards set by relevant authorities. This position requires an enthusiastic commitment to teamwork and maintaining a respectful environment for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver patient-focused nursing care to diverse populations

• Function collaboratively within a health care team

• Follow nursing practices outlined by the College of Nurses

• Ensure compliance with health legislation standards

• Contribute effectively through an estimated 8-month role

Requirements:

• Current RPN certification from Ontario's College of Nurses

• At least one-year recent experience in rehabilitation

• Experience in palliative care is a benefit

• Preferred training in LEAP and Gentle Persuasive Approach

• Valid C.P.R. certification required
