PACU Registered Nurse at Headwaters

In the PACU Department, you'll be accountable for delivering competent, patient-centered care in line with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards. This Registered Nurse role requires collaboration with families and caregivers to ensure comprehensive recovery experiences. Strong clinical skills, including BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications, are essential for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide safe post-anesthetic nursing care

• Collaborate with families and interprofessional teams

• Adhere to CNO and peri-anesthesia standards

• Manage on-call coverage as needed

• Interpret basic cardiac rhythms accurately

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse in good standing with CNO

• Minimum two years of recent PACU experience preferred

• Completion of peri-anesthesia nursing program required

• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Ability to meet physical demands of the role
