Temporary Full Time Registered Nurse - Obstetrics

This role requires accountability for both general and specialized nursing duties in obstetrics. As a Registered Nurse, you will follow the standards set by the College of Nurses of Ontario and Headwaters. Your expertise in labor, delivery, and fetal health surveillance will directly impact patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetric patients

• Manage labor and delivery support with diligence

• Perform fetal health surveillance during labor

• Collaborate with health professionals for optimal care

• Maintain excellent attendance and performance records

Requirements:

• Certification with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in obstetrics, preferably labor and delivery

• Completed Neonatal Resuscitation certification

• Maternal Newborn Nursing Certificate (preferred)

• Completed breastfeeding course (20-hour INFACT/WHO)
