In this role, the Registered Practical Nurse will provide focused, quality care to obstetrical patients, ensuring adherence to the standards outlined by the College of Nurses of Ontario. You will work within an interdisciplinary team, forming a crucial part of providing a comprehensive patient experience that values kindness and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver nursing care to obstetric patients with predictability
• Engage in health team collaborations for improved patient outcomes
• Maintain nursing practice standards as per regulations
• Facilitate patient education and family support
• Foster a culture of teamwork within the department
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse certification required
• Preferred experience in obstetrical care
• Maternal Newborn Nursing Certificate completion within one year
• Current CPR and NRP certifications
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
