Position: Trauma Counsellor Position Full-Time
Become a Trauma Counsellor with Family Transition Place, dedicated to providing essential support for those affected by abuse and sexual violence. This full-time contract role spans multiple sites, including Orangeville, Bolton, and Shelburne.

Ideal candidates will hold a Master’s degree in counselling and have significant experience in crisis intervention and group therapy. As a counsellor, you'll be responsible for cultivating collaborative relationships and ensuring compliance with agency policies. Your commitment to equity and social responsibility will guide your practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer compassionate individual and group counselling

• Maintain essential electronic records for service events

• Collaborate with referral sources within the community

• Conduct educational workshops and committee participation

• Plan and organize supportive services

Requirements:

• Master’s level degree or related qualification

• Minimum of 2 years in crisis counselling

• Registration or eligibility with professional college

• Proficient communication skills

• Valid driver's license and vulnerable sector clearance
