OCHS Acting Coach

Position Description

The individual accepting this position will be an Acting Coach for the  season. This coach will possess high ethical and moral standards and be able to work under the guidelines and policies set forth by the Oregon City School District, High School and Activities/Athletic Department. They should be an excellent role model for high school students and be supportive of all Oregon City programs.

Individuals with professional acting experience will help student actors prepare for the Regional Acting Competition. Coaches will set up meeting times with students to provide constructive blocking, musical, and emotional feedback.

• Ability to effectively communicate with administration, teaching staff, community members, parents and students.
• Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Will coach individual participants in the skills necessary for excellent achievement in the activity involved.

This position may be filled by either a licensed or classified individual.
