The individual accepting this assignment will teach physical education at the middle school level (grades 6-8).

• 1. Must communicate effectively with parents, staff, and students.
• 2. Will teach Activities/Fitness.
• 3. Must work effectively with students of varying abilities.

(Licensure, training, specialty skills or previous experience)

• 1. Valid Oregon teaching license appropriate to the assignment.
• 2. Physical Education endorsement required.
• 3. Background in weight training preferred.
• 4. Must demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality.
• 5. Provide structure and leadership to facilitate physical education curriculum change and assist in identifying physical education curricular needs.
• 6. Provide advice and consultation in regard to District policy formation and priorities as they affect physical education.
• 7. Ability to work well with other staff, students, and parents.

This TEMPORARY position is 0.5 FTE.
