Effective February 1, 2026, the Oregon Judicial Department will implement a cost‑of‑living salary increase of 2.5%.
Limited Duration: This is a full‑time, limited
Digest-duration position, currently funded through June 30, 2027. Continuation beyond that date is subject to available funding.
If you are a current OJD regular status employee, acceptance of a limited‑duration status position does not change your status to limited duration (although a probationary period may still apply). See Judicial Department Personnel Rule 6 for more information or contact your assigned HR Manager.

Benefits to you
- We pay 95% to 99% of medical insurance premiums for full‑time employees [OR up to 99% of medical insurance premiums for part‑time employees], including mental health coverage.
- The hourly equivalent for this position is $26.82 - $41.61. [OR The annual salary for this position is $55,788 - $86,544.]

- OJD will pay you a 5% allowance for bilingual skills (includes ASL) if you can pass a skills test and are assigned to use those skills on the job!
- In this job profile, we offer candidates new to OJD up to the third step of the salary range, depending on experience. You are potentially eligible for a 5% annual increase.

In this role… You will provide administrative support to the judge in court. For most of your day, you will prepare the courtroom for the day’s proceedings, swear in witnesses, mark and maintain exhibits, monitor proceedings and respond to security needs, maintain audio and electronic records, update the case management system, and facilitate remote hearings.
