Pay Rate $16.00 per hour.

Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am

Job Responsibilities
  • Remove egg trays from incubator racks and insert them into egg picking machine.
  • Remove hatcher baskets from transfer machine and stack them onto hatcher racks.
  • Transport hatcher and incubator racks to and from corresponding machines.
  • Remove incubator racks from incubators.
  • Correctly place hatcher racks into hatchers.
  • Wash empty incubator racks and egg flats with high pressure washing equipment.
  • Stack and wrap pallets of egg flats with stretch wrap.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Ability to move 1,600 LB racks in and out of incubators with help.
  • Ability to mix cleaning solutions and vaccine solutions.
  • Possess good judgment to ensure safety of others while working.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach.
  • Ability to make minor adjustments and repairs to Embrex and servicing equipment.
  • Ability to repeatedly lift 65 pounds and stack up to height of 7 feet.
  • Must become pallet jack certified.
  • Must be self-motivated and a self-starter.
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
