Accountant, Financial Reporting, Financial Analyst

Location: Portland

We're looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our accounting operations. What You'll Do

• Prepare, review, and analyze monthly GAAP-compliant financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and general ledger account reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies
• Process journal entries, bank transfers, and check requests with precision and timeliness
• Support the Accounting Manager and Controller with financial reporting, audits, and special projects
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other accounting and finance initiatives as needed

What We're Looking For

• Hands-on experience with accounting software and tools, including Excel and ERP systems such as Oracle or Sage
• Strong technical accounting knowledge with a solid understanding of GAAP principles
• High level of accountability, accuracy, and commitment to delivering quality work
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration across teams
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to providing exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
