- Operateasphaltpaversorscreedstoachievepropergrade,slope,depth,andsmoothness.
- Adjustpaverorscreedcontrolstomeetprojectspecificationsandsurfacerequirements.
- Workcloselywiththepaverorscreedoperators,foreman,andpavingcrewtomaintainconsistentasphaltflow.
- Monitormatqualityandmakereal-timeadjustmentsasneeded.
- Performdailyinspectionsandbasicpreventativemaintenanceonscreedequipment.
- Ensurecompliancewithprojectplans,specifications,andqualitystandards.
- FollowallDOT,OSHA,environmental,andcompanysafetyprocedures.
- Workflexiblehours,includingdaytime,nighttime,andweekendshiftsasrequiredbyprojectschedules.
- Maintainarespectful,team-oriented,andsafety-focusedworkenvironment.
- Priorexperienceoperatingasphaltscreedsand/orpavingmachinesrequired.
- Strongunderstandingofasphaltpavingprocesses,grades,and tolerances.
- Abilitytoreadandfollowprojectplansandspecifications.
- CDLClass
Alicensepreferredbutnotrequired. - Abilitytoworkinvaryingweatherconditionsandextendedhourswhenneeded.
