Morrow County Health District has a full-time opening for a Family Medicine Physician in our Rural Health Clinic in Heppner, Oregon.

The Family Medicine Physician will provide professional, comprehensive care for all patients at Pioneer Memorial Clinic. The Physician will be accountable for the delivery of coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, evidence-based quality care to patients and families, based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs, and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan. The Physician will practice in accordance with Certification/Licensure in Oregon and follow all standards and scope of practice for a Family Medicine Physician.

The Physician will communicate effectively with providers and other staff members for continuity of care; maintains satisfactory relationships with other departments and participates in all phases of education, maintenance of records, and follow policies and procedures. Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills to accomplish a variety of work with various groups of people, including nurses, patients and family members, personnel from other hospitals, clinics, healthcare organizations and facilities, co-workers as well as the general public.

A demonstrated understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures is required. Must be able to interact with others in a thoughtful and professional manner. Must have excellent medical skills and will provide professional, comprehensive care for all patients at Pioneer Memorial Clinic.

• Monday-Friday flex schedule

• Must be licensed in Oregon
• Must have Medical Degree (MD or DO) from accredited institution.
• Board Certification in Family Medicine
• Pre-employment background check and drug/alcohol screen are required
