Consultant, Sales Engineer

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to drive customer solutions and provide technical oversight
• Produce written proposals and network engineering designs while consulting with customers on best practices
• Prepare quotes, responses to RFx's, and assess new product features while managing customer requests
• Serve as the primary customer-facing contact for advanced technical issues and lead discussions on product and technology solutions
• Travel 30-40% for customer engagements, technical discussions, and presentations

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10 years of telecommunications industry experience
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Expert knowledge in designing and planning Layer 0/1 and Layer 2/3 networks and services
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Experience with sales opportunity and quote tools
• Strong problem‑solving skills and time management abilities
• Technical background with a desire to learn new technologies
• Experience working with engineering organizations to articulate technical concepts for end customers
• Familiarity with constructing product feature/price analysis spreadsheets
