Job description

Overall management and leadership of team for capital and high level factory projects to support the manufacturing process. Improve Risk Analysis and Equipment FMEA throughout project development, execution and equipment operation. Manage capital requirements within the business plan horizon; develop, plan and implement projects. Lead team focusing on safety, ergonomics, quality, capacity and cost improvements. Timely planning and completion of Projects related to HSE, sustainability and production support / improvement.

Management of Equipment Modification Request (EMR) process, planning and project completion. Support equipment analysis and process emission calculations for all permitting needs. Support capacity analysis, risk analysis, justification, and qualification for modifications of processes and equipment. Build positive employee relationships based on defined measurable goals, open communication, and participative management. Perform other related duties as required.

Successful candidate will:
  • Have industrial manufacturing equipment engineering knowledge to support Senior Engineers in project definition, project management, problem resolution and technical solutions.
  • Be the top level person to resolve all technical and project management tasks for the capital team that need to flow up for complex analysis and decision.
  • Have extensive experience in industrial electricity, instrumentation, controls, mechanical and civil designs.
  • Develop improved project management skills within the team.
  • Develop team following PROMPT methodology for capital investments.
  • Lead support and training plans to ensure proper operation and maintenance of new and existing equipment.
  • Develop plans for 10 year growth and obsolescence budgeting, planning and project implementation.
  • Assist all teams with root cause analysis and elimination of reoccurring problems impacting OEE.
