Assistant Controller, Prime Brokerage & Digital Assets

• Develop and maintain accounting processes for prime financing and capital markets, ensuring compliance with GAAP/IFRS and crypto-specific guidance
• Oversee accurate and timely recording of transactions, including interest, trading gains/losses, fees, and collateral movements
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for prime financing and capital markets
• Design and maintain SOX-compliant internal controls, addressing crypto-specific risks
• Conduct P&L and balance sheet analysis, support audits, and assist in preparing regulatory filings

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA designation required
• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 4-5 years in prime brokerage or capital markets accounting
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate ambiguity in crypto transactions
• Experience with SOX compliance within a financial services context

• Experience with a crypto prime brokerage or institutional digital asset firm
• Familiarity with crypto accounting software or blockchain analytics platforms
• Experience with multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange impacts
• Proven understanding and hands-on experience with digital assets and blockchain technology
