What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
  • Extract, analyze, and prepare data for actuarial analysis related to risk measurements and fair values
  • Communicate and collaborate with various departments to meet business needs and improve processes
  • Prepare ongoing calculations and reporting of risk capital for business units and the entire company
  • Develop and maintain models for risk management and regulatory requirements, providing insights for strategic decision‑making
  • Act as a subject matter expert, influencing management decisions on products, markets, and profitability
What is Required (Qualifications)
  • Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, actuarial science, business, or a related field
  • ASA designation or equivalent required
  • Demonstrated experience in an actuarial capacity
  • Advanced analytical skills with a solid understanding of insurance markets and risk management
  • Experience with retirement and individual annuity products preferred; capital experience is a plus
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, GGY Axis, Python, Dataiku, or other modeling software
  • Experience conducting complex analysis and providing recommendations on risk management strategies
  • Ability to manage multiple complex cross‑functional projects simultaneously
  • Strong communication skills to engage with non‑technical audiences
  • Initiative in addressing business challenges with limited guidance
